JM Coull performed renovations and constructed an addition to the Acton Congregational Church to accommodate its active and growing membership. More worship and community space was needed, and rather than move to a new location, there was a strong desire by members to renovate the original circa 1800s building that is situated within Acton's historic district.

- Complete demolition requiring careful dismantling of fragile stained glass and church organ
- Rotated existing vestry 90 degrees for additional pews & choir loft
- Raised sanctuary ceiling with wood-enclosed steel beams
- Church remained in operation throughout construction
