Project Manager
Responsibilities:

About You
You are a project manager who has:

  • 5 to 10 years of commercial, general contracting project management experience in a hard bid, CM, and design-build environment
  • Experience managing projects in the bio pharma and/or tech markets
  • Familiarity with design and construction aspects specific to bio pharma and tech project types
  • BA/BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar required
  • Computer skills, minimum MS Project, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of Procore Project Management Software is a plus
Additionally, it would be desirable if you had:

  • 5 to 10 years of construction field experience
  • 5 to 10 years of construction estimating experience
  • Strong knowledge of Sage/Timberline
  • OSHA 30
  • State of MA Construction Supervisors License
  • Motivated, self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team environment
Your Impact
As a project manager, you will be responsible for all project aspects, including, but not limited to:

  • Safety and quality control
  • Schedule and budget
  • Open, efficient communication with all parties (clients, end-users, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors)
  • Financial and administrative matters
As a leader, you will set the tone for the entire project and your team. In addition to managing the project within defined budgets and schedule, meeting project goals, and ensuring client satisfaction, you will be responsible for managing expectations and relationships for an overall positive outcome.

Project Superintendent
Responsibilities:
The Superintendent's main goal is to coordinate and manage the day to day onsite job functions and ensure safety, quality, and schedule are top priorities to all members of the project team. The Superintendent manages site-based construction operations for assigned projects. He/she shares responsibility with the rest of the project team for the on-time, satisfactory completion of the project and for keeping labor, material, rental, and general conditions costs, other than project management costs, at or under estimate. The Superintendent also manages daily safety, quality, schedule, subcontractor, and onsite client relations

Education/Experience Required:
  • Four Year College Degree in relation to Construction/Civil/Arch. Engineering
  • And/or 10+ years of experience in the field as a supervisor of construction
  • Experience with projects in the Bio Pharma/Life Sciences industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with design and construction aspects specific to Bio Pharma project types is a plus
  • Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • OSHA 30 Certified and Trained
  • Must hold an active Construction Supervisors License with the State of MA

Assistant Project Manager
Responsibilities:
At JM Coull the role of Assistant Project Manager is critical to the successful outcome of our projects. As an APM you will have hands-on involvement in every aspect of a project as it moves through construction. Therefore the ideal candidate will be an energetic, team-oriented problem solver, as well as a good communicator that is focused on helping the project move forward based on the specific teams' needs and goals. Our APMs have hands-on involvement in every aspect of a project as it moves from preconstruction, through construction, to closeout.

What you need to be a successful member of our team:

  • 2-3 years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • BA/BS in construction/civil engineering/architecture
  • Basic understanding of scheduling, estimating, and construction safety
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer skills, minimum Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Procore Project Management software a plus
Your Impact:

As an assistant project manager, you will be responsible for multiple aspects of our projects, including but not limited to:

  • Providing regular support to project manager(s) and project superintendent(s)
  • Attending team meetings with project managers, clients, and design/engineering partners
  • Ensuring all project documentation is completed efficiently and accurately and in a timely manner
  • Drafting subcontractor scopes of work and preparing contract packages
  • Assisting in invoicing process
  • Developing and managing project punch lists and supporting project closeout
