JMC created a new suite of labs and cleanroom spaces for the research and development of laser technology for biomedical and reproductive applications, such as the recovery of fetal cells in maternal blood. The sensitive nature of laser research necessitated extensive sound proofing and a floating floor system to isolate the cleanroom space from vibration.
