Since our founding in 1984, JMC's leadership has relentlessly pursued jobsite health and safety through ongoing training and by empowering our employees with the authority to deal with potential violations "in the moment". At a time when cost and schedule often dictate how buildings are constructed, we will not sacrifice the health and safety of our employees, partners, or clients for the sake of expediency.Our mission is the prevention of injury, illness, environmental impact, and property damage during all construction activities, and is accomplished through a tiered approach, including the following:
- Strong affiliation between JMC, the construction community, and other trades
- Corporate safety program and project-specific safety plans
- Enforcement of responsibility and accountability for safety on site
- Safety monitoring and continuous improvement program
- Development and enhancement of training for specific
construction tasks - Injury prevention through focus on activity pre-task planning
- Procedures to assess the safety program and make any
necessary modifications - Strong open lines of communication, enabling employees and trades to share thoughts and ideas for improving safety
- Engagement of third party, independent safety consultant to perform regular, random and unannounced safety inspections with formal report to JMC Ownership on all observations, compliant and non-compliant with grading of severity

We have also implemented, train to and enforce our own strict site and office-based protocols to ensure the key recommended CDC guide-lines are adhered to. We have encouraged all of our employees and their families to get fully vaccinated.
